BodyHoliday Partners With St. Lucia's First Olympic Gold Medalist

Wellness resort BodyHoliday has announced an exclusive partnership with Julien Alfred, the first Saint Lucian athlete to win a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This collaboration underscores BodyHoliday’s commitment to continue to innovate and enhance its wellness offerings for guests.

Alfred, who won gold in the women’s 100 meter event, will join BodyHoliday as a guest presenter for one week (dates to be announced) to host the resort’s wellness program, WellFit, an intensive, week-long training program that aims to support and encourage guests to create a lasting change and hit their objectives. Each year, the program is delivered by a range of fitness presenters, professional conditioning coaches and guest athletes who, in the past, have included Tyree Washington, a former American track and field gold medal athlete, and Randy Moss, former NFL wide receiver.

This special engagement offers BodyHoliday guests an opportunity to train with and be trained by an Olympic champion, gaining first-hand insight into the training regimen and mental resilience that propelled Julien Alfred to the pinnacle of her sport.

Alfred’s guest presentation at BodyHoliday will include a mix of training sessions, motivational talks and interactive activities designed to inspire and motivate guests of all fitness levels to reach new heights in their personal wellness journeys.

In conjunction with this partnership, BodyHoliday has also announced its support for The Julien Alfred Foundation, an organization committed to providing resources and opportunities for young athletes and underprivileged communities across Saint Lucia. As a partner, BodyHoliday will make an annual donation to The Julien Alfred Foundation, reinforcing its commitment to fostering positive social impact both locally and globally.

The starting rate at BodyHoliday includes various fitness activities, a daily spa treatment, all meals (some dishes and the I-TAL conscious eating experience are available for a supplement), drinks, personal instruction and tuition available for all sports, motorized and non-motorized water sports, and nightly entertainment.
