BodyHoliday Saint Lucia has announced its line-up of themes for 2023. For nine months of the year, the all-inclusive wellness resort will welcome professional practitioners, athletes, dancers and sailors to present special programs. Each month has a different theme, comprising various classes, motivational talks and dinners hosted by visiting athletes.
Highlights are as follows:
- “Spring WellFit” (May 1–12) is the perfect program for those who want to transform their body, attitude and approach to health and well-being. The intensive training program aims to support and encourage guests to create a lasting change and hit their objectives. The program is delivered by a range of group fitness presenters, professional conditioning coaches and guest athletes including Tyree Washington, a former American track and field athlete who won two gold medals in the 4x400m relay
- “June Jive” (June 5–30) includes 19 daytime dance and dance-fitness classes per week, including Zumba, Disco Aerobics, Street Dance, Foxtrot, Dance Step, Hip Hop, AquaDance, Jive, Salsa, Argentine Tango, Merengue and Latin Aerobics. The program is hosted by four presenters: Lauren Jamieson, Nicholas Tredrea, Jennifer Benavidez and Ian Waite
- “WellFit Tribes” (July 3–August 25) is a family-based fitness week that encompasses all aspects of the resort. Guests can develop their physical fitness, strength and stamina with beach boot camps instructed by visiting Olympians, gain mental focus and clarity through yoga presented by international teachers, and learn new skills such as first aid CPR, basic sailing and healthy cooking. The program is hosted by athletes such as Donna Fraser, Lewis Mood, Angie Akers and Steph Lewis
- “September Solos” (September 4–29) is designed to offer the best elements of health, well-being, connection and fun with other like-minded solo travelers. Guests can enjoy hosted dinners and dedicated fitness classes. The program is open to guests staying in Single Garden rooms or paying for single occupancy in a double room
- “Octoba Yoga” (October 2–27) is a month-long program of activities led by Finlay Wilson. Lessons from sunrise to sunset include various forms of yoga along with meditation classes. Participants can enjoy unique massages, therapeutic treatments at the Wellness Centre and a special yogic food menu
- “Pre Christmas Restorative Break” (December 11–22) has been created by BodyHoliday’s team of health and wellbeing experts so participants can enjoy the festive season, besides maintaining their health and wellness long after it is over. Presenters include former British competitive diver Leon Taylor and Welsh sprint athlete Jamie Baulch
