Casa de Campo Resort and Villas, a luxury golf resort in the Dominican Republic, is hosting four golf events this fall on its three 18- to 27-hole Pete Dye-designed layouts: Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and The Links.
Beginning September 11, the 38th Annual Casa de Campo Open will be played on all three courses. The 54-hole individual stroke play event includes competition in senior, super senior, master senior and elite senior divisions for both men and women. The four-day tournament is all-inclusive including four nights of accommodation. Fares begin at $1,735 per person, based on double occupancy.
New this year, the 1st Annual Couple’s Golf & Spa Retreat will be held October 16 through October 20. The event includes three days of competition in shamble, scramble and best ball formats with participants also enjoying the resort’s spa and amenities including lodging. The all-inclusive four-night stay begins at $1,774 per person, based on double occupancy.
The 14th Annual Twosome Championship, held December 1 through December 7, will accept entries from both professionals and amateurs. The 90-hole handicapped event includes rounds on Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and The Links. The all-inclusive six-night package starts at $2,549 per person, based on double occupancy.
The Casa de Campo Women’s Getaway with Suzy Whaley is a four-day, three-night event from December 6 through December 9. Whaley, the current president of the PGA of America, will host the getaway. Highlights include unlimited green fees on all three courses and personal instruction by Whaley at the resort’s new Gold Learning Center. The stay-and-play is all-inclusive and starts at $1,928 per person, based on double occupancy.
