Club Med has unveiled details about the wellness experience available at Club Med Québec, which will officially open on December 3, 2021. Guests can look forward to rest and relaxation through the resort’s expansive wellness area which includes a 75-foot heated pool, an outdoor terrace spanning more than 1,000 square feet, with a Jacuzzi, and the Club Med Spa by Sothys—all overlooking the Charlevoix region in Canada’s Quebec province.
Club Med Québec offers guests a range of all-inclusive activities, designed to provide an all-encompassing wellness experience. With an entire floor dedicated to wellness, guests can enjoy a plethora of workout classes, such as hot yoga and spinning, in the fitness room, gym and yoga room. After a wellness-oriented activity, guests can unwind in the heated pool, Hammam or outdoor Jacuzzi, while enjoying the views of the St. Lawrence River.
À-la-carte treatments, which incorporate natural ingredients, are designed to heal body and mind and will be offered in one of seven single rooms or as a pair in a double room. All spa-goers will have access to a hot and cold therapy pathway, which offers a relaxing journey of experiences, including a snow fountain, cold bath and cold shower, besides an outdoor Jacuzzi and sauna, designed to increase energy, improve circulation and boost overall mood. Guests will also find many tranquil areas, such as the relaxation area and outdoor terrace, where they can soak up stunning scenes of the river below.
With more than 35 hours of yoga and meditation programming each week, guests of Club Med Québec will have a range of indoor and outdoor classes to choose from, all customized to accommodate individual schedules, abilities and skill sets. From après ski or sensorial yoga (which uses lights, sounds, and scents), to mountaintop yoga and sylvotherapy (meditation in the forest), guests will discover a range of rejuvenating sessions featuring innovative twists to soothe the senses.
