Formerly a Hilton, this Tahiti resort is undergoing a multi-millon dollar renovation before reopening in March as the Conrad Bora Bora Nui. It’s situated on the southwest end of Motu To'opua, an islet off the Bora Bora coast—a 20-minute boat ride from the airport.
In fact, clients may recognize the resort’s two-story overwater bungalows from TV episodes of The Bachelorette or Keeping up with the Kardashians.
There will be 29 garden and beach villas, plus 86 overwater bungalows, including the infamous double-storey Presidential Suites (the only ones in Bora Bora).
This is the first property for the Conrad brand in the South Pacific; in the region, Hilton Worldwide currently operates Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa, Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa and the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji Sonaisali Island.
Facilities at the Conrad Bora Bora Nui will include a Kids Club, wedding venues, a mini-golf course, a fitness center, and a spa with eight treatment rooms. The varied F&B outlets include a French brasserie, a Polynesian beach restaurant, a Chinese eatery, a swim-up pool bar, and an overwater sunset bar.
