Millennials looking to take a refreshing swim at an off-the-beaten-path destination in Costa Rica might want to check out Kura Design Villas in Uvita.
The property offers a 62-foot long saltwater infinity pool with 180-degree views of Marino Ballena National Park and the famous “Whale’s Tail” sandbar formation.
The resort and pool are adults only, making it a solid fit for honeymooners or romantic escapes in general.
Double wide hammocks and queen sized-daybeds surround the pool deck and invite guests to linger poolside to soak in the sun and ocean and rainforest canopy views.
The pool at Kura is available exclusively for guests. That being said, the entire eight-suite hilltop retreat can be privately rented out for a maximum of 16 people. The Master Suites have private infinity edge plunge pools.

Diablitos Bar & Lounge provides poolside service and craft cocktails, premium wines and snacks throughout the day. We were told to try the unique seafood Carpaccio menu for an interesting and tropical twist on traditional tapas (all prepared with sustainable and locally sourced ingredients.)
This pool also has colored lights and an underwater sound system. Millennials can even share their favorite playlist with the staff and can can listen to their personal favorite music while swimming beneath the surface. The pool also offers a full service bar and restaurant menu. A staff of nearly 30 are attend to guests in the eight suites.
Eight minimalist suites range from large (Junior Suites are 800+ square feet) to larger (the Master Suites are 1,937 square feet) and have floor-to-ceiling glass walls for uninterrupted views from the bed.
In-suite amenities include two-person hammocks, open-air verandas, double rain showers, luxury linens, creative lighting and private infinity pools in the Master Suites.
