Hotel and brand management company Dream Hotel Group has announced plans to build its first property in Mexico. Located in the Valle de Guadalupe along the Ruta del Vino wine route, the new property is looking to open its doors in 2021.
Less than two hours from San Diego, the new property will be situated in Mexico’s Baja California region within short range of the area’s famous wineries. At the property, guests will be able to choose from three dining and nightlife venues: a private tasting room, a pool bar that will host a rigorous calendar of events for guests and the surrounding community and a signature restaurant led by a known celebrity chef.
The upcoming boutique hotel, designed by Mexican architect Tatiana Bilbao, will feature a large vineyard, 61 guest rooms and villas and a luxury spa and wellness concept. The property will also provide private meeting spaces for visitors looking to host intimate events and weddings.
Upon reaching an agreement with Baja California-based Cosmopolitan Group, the upcoming Valle de Guadalupe property marked the third hotel deal Dream Hotels signed in Mexico in the past 12 months. The group currently has 19 locations open today with more than 20 others in various stages of development around the world. According to the organization, it is on track to triple its existing portfolio by 2022.
