Dream Hotel Group has announced plans to debut its flagship lifestyle brand Dream Hotels in Las Vegas with a free-standing, 450-room property on the Las Vegas Strip. Construction on the new hotel is expected to begin in early 2021, with the opening scheduled for 2023.
The Dream Hotel Las Vegas will have 450 guestrooms and suites, seven dining and nightlife venues – including a rooftop pool deck, bar and lounge, three feature restaurants, two additional bar and lounge concepts on the gaming floor and a grab-and-go café on the street level – and 12,000 square feet of private meeting and event space, a full-service spa, a fitness center and on-site parking.
Global architectural firm DLR Group is the designer and executive architect on the project, working with general contractor McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. The hotel will be housed in a 21-story tower with a mix of venues distributed vertically throughout a composition of roof decks, terraces and an undulating, contemporary glass-and-metal façade with details such as radiused corners, double-height terraces, oversized windows and an aerodynamic shape.
The hotel will be centrally located on Las Vegas Blvd., across the street from the Mandalay Bay Resort and Bali Hai Golf Club and close to the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. It will also be adjacent to McCarran International Airport’s private aviation terminal, two blocks from the new Allegiant Stadium (future home of the NFL Las Vegas Raiders) and near the T-Mobile Arena, which hosts the NHL Vegas Golden Knights and a number of live entertainment events.
The news follows that of the recent signings of Dream San Antonio, Dream Memphis, The Bight by Dream Hotel Group in Turks and Caicos, and Emma & Elissa by Dream Hotel Group in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Dream Hotel Group has 16 hotels open and over 20 more in various stages of development.
