The Times Square EDITION will officially open March 12 following a preview debut February 19. The new 452-room Manhattan hotel will offer dining venues from a Michelin-starred chef, a cabaret performance space four levels of public space and more.
Michelin-starred chef John Fraser will lead The Times Square EDITION’s food and beverage projects. Fine dining restaurant 701 West will serve dishes like sweet potato baked in seaweed bread and lobster velouté with truffle pannisse and champagne float. The Terrace Restaurant and Outdoor Gardens will act as an ‘everyday’ dining option with inspiration taken from traditional French brasseries and American chophouses. The Lobby Bar will serve bar food that goes beyond the typical nuts and finger food.
The Times Square EDITION’s cabaret venue, The Paradise Club, will feature work from Anya Sapozhnikova, Justin Conte, Matthew Dailey and Kae Burke of House of Yes. The venue will regularly present an ongoing performance based on William Blake’s “The Marriage of Heaven and Hell.” Shows will be part theater and part performance art with no specific structure, making every night different from the last.
