The Elser Hotel & Residences in Downtown Miami is set to open this fall. The 49-story tower has 646 rooms, and the hotel will introduce visitors to the area’s cultural offerings, including art, wellness, music, fashion and dining.
In the lobby, Café Domino, an open-concept coffee bar, serves made-to-order coffee drinks, pastries and breakfast bites in a communal setting adorned with neon lighting and exposed brick. Coming soon, the coffee bar’s focal point will be a marble island in the center of the space with a display of greenery and ferns floating overhead. Just off the lobby will be a new restaurant concept by the culinary team at Jaguar Sun, a downtown bar. The new dining concept will have 55 seats and a full-service bar program.
Rooms range from studios to three-bedroom suites, all with floor-to-ceiling windows framing city and bay views. Good to know: Select guestrooms have balconies. The living spaces include seating areas for in-room dining and entertainment besides plush bedding. Each room has a full kitchen with quartz countertops, a free-standing range and slate appliances. The bathrooms include custom Italian vanities and glass-enclosed showers.
The hotel houses a two-story 10,20-square-foot fitness center with views of Biscayne Bay. Meditation and yoga classes will be available on the open-air fitness deck. The hotel also has a sauna and a hot tub, besides a 19,000-square-foot sun deck that offers views of FTX Arena, MacArthur Causeway and South Beach. It has a 132-foot-long pool lined with daybeds and chaise lounges and a 16-foot LED screen overhead. The sun deck also includes eight electric grills, an outdoor bar and an event lawn with waterfront views.
The hotel is located near cultural attractions, including Wynwood, the Design District, Miami Beach, South Beach’s historic Art Deco District, PortMiami, LoanDepot Park (home of the Miami Marlins) and several dining outlets. Other nearby attractions include the Adrienne Arsht Center, Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and Pérez Art Museum Miami.
The Elser Hotel & Residences is accepting reservations starting November 30, 2022. The property is a member of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts Lifestyle Collection and is managed by Highgate.
