Club Med has unveiled the first photos and details of the rooms and suites at Club Med Québec. The brand’s first all-inclusive Canadian resort, opening on December 3, 2021 will be spread across more than 300 acres of preserved natural landscape with views of the St. Lawrence River. The 302-room resort has a mix of room categories besides a private Exclusive Collection luxury space with 25 dedicated suites.
Located at the top of the resort, the Exclusive Collection space offers picturesque views, amenities, and all-inclusive services, such as breakfast room service, dedicated concierge, a private bar with daily evening champagne service and a lounge with a fireplace and cozy seating options surrounded by views of the St. Lawrence River.
The 25 Exclusive Collection suites offer spacious living rooms, oversized bathrooms and decadent bedding. Set against a white and black backdrop, the décor features a mix of materials and textures drawn from traditional, yet modern, elements. Inspired by indigenous culture, leather, wood, fur and wool knits are combined to create an interpretation of an arrowhead motif on the wall. In the white bathroom, ceramic tiles of different sizes create a pattern reminiscent of a traditional loom. Blonde wood flooring fills the space with carpeting that includes a dream-catcher design next to the bed, while lofty ceilings are included as an ode to the region’s ancestral homes.
The Deluxe Rooms offer views of the St. Lawrence River and feature bright, contrasting hues of sunshine yellow and cardinal red to echo the warmth of the region and pay homage to the colors of Québec. An attic-like ceiling and coffered paneling surrounds the blonde wood flooring and furniture in the space, akin to the ancestral homes of the area. Red is prominent in this room with a carmine-colored barn door and carpet that features a modern version of the arrowhead sash. As the property is immersed in nature, Club Med brings the outside in with decorative furnishings like a log table, acorn-shaped hanging lamps, mushroom desk lamp, and wall decals of leaves of various tree species.
Set on a backdrop of Quebec’s immense open spaces, the Superior Rooms have shades of winter white and dusk blue to highlight the local colors while inspiration for furniture was drawn from nature. Guests will find an owl lamp and doe-inspired bedside table in the room besides the silhouette of a boreal forest on the wall that separates the bedroom and bathroom. Blonde wood is used to create the desk area and flooring that runs underneath a star-spangled carpet. The Superior Room also has a dream catcher
Bookings for the new Club Med Québec are currently open. Guests will also be able to enjoy a range of activities and amenities such as wellness, and food and beverage offerings; more details to be shared in the coming weeks.
