Caesars Entertainment Corporation has announced that it will launch a $90 million complete renovation of 1,270 rooms at Flamingo Las Vegas. The renovation will begin in late August 2017, with the first guest arrivals expected in November 2017, and final completion of all rooms expected in the second quarter of 2018.
The fully renovated rooms will offer contemporary and retro-chic designs with accents that celebrate Flamingo's history on the Las Vegas Strip. Designed by Forrest Perkins, the revitalized rooms will have hues of gold and pops of flamingo pink, staying true to the property's character.
Flamingo Las Vegas, which celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2016, has more than 3,500 rooms and suites and is home to a 15-acre pool and wildlife habitat complete with waterfalls, vegetation and tropical wildlife; three pools and several outdoor wedding gardens. The resort also has a wide variety of dining options and eateries including Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, Center Cut Steakhouse, Paradise Garden Las Vegas Buffet and Carlos’n Charlie’s.
This summer, Flamingo Las Vegas will host a variety of celebrity performers at its Flamingo GO Pool, an extended residency by comedian Piff the Magic Dragon, and a new Wednesday night ritual: Beach Club at Night. Beach Club at Night will be a dress-down option for party-goers, complete with drinking games, a fire pit, music by DJ Tavo, drink specials, and even alcohol-infused s'mores. Beach Club at Night will be open from 7 p.m. to midnight every Wednesday all summer long from May 3 through the end of September.
In 2016, Caesars Entertainment upgraded more than 4,800 rooms at four of its Las Vegas resorts, including Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Paris Las Vegas and Harrah’s Las Vegas.
