The erstwhile Santa Ynez Inn has reopened as Santa Barbara wine country’s newest boutique hotel, The Genevieve. The 20-room hotel also houses The Victor Restaurant and Bar, a spa, and a range of meeting and event spaces.
The Genevieve will continue to offer the same level of hospitality as the Santa Ynez Inn, in an intimate setting amidst a lush garden, meandering pathways and fire pits that provide the perfect setting for enjoying an evening bottle of wine. Guests can also enjoy daily made-to-order breakfast and wine and dessert hour, a whiskey library, onsite Tesla charging stations and a curated Tasting Passport that creates the perfect introduction to wine in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Set on the grounds of The Genevieve, The Victor has a modern design with marble-top bars, leather and forest-green velvet chairs. Open for dinner, with brunch service launching next month, The Victor’s live fire-driven menu includes land and sea offerings by Executive Chef Beto Huizar, and is complemented by a list of wines and cocktails.
The on-site Splendour Spa offers a range of massages, including a champagne-infused Bubbles and Bliss Massage, besides deep tissue, pre- and post-natal, and couples massages. Each treatment is customized to suit guests’ specific treatment needs.
Offering more than 7,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor wedding and event space, The Genevieve can host a range of events including luxury weddings, product launches and gala dinners. The venues are complemented by a full-service event team.
