Grand Velas Resorts in Riviera Maya and Riviera Nayarit have rolled out new family experiences for extended families. Additionally, both resorts are offering spacious suites for single families and Two-Bedroom Family Suites for larger families.
The new “Grandparents Package” at Grand Velas Riviera Maya includes a range of family-friendly experiences such as a private tour to the Tulum ruins and beaches, which includes transportation. Other experiences range from a traditional Mexican BBQ cooking lesson, in-room board games, a family painting class to a 60-minute photography session.
At Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, families can take over the children’s or teens’ club for an exclusive experience. The private party is full of surprises from themed decorations, an assorted candy bar, colorful popcorn bar and guided workshops for kite-making, painting and balloon games, to name a few. The celebration ends on a sweet note with cake or cupcakes, a surprise show and a traditional piñata. The Teens Club offers a game room complete with an Xbox Kinect, pool table, air hockey, ping pong, foosball and a karaoke set with vintage dance floor.
