Grupo Brisas has announced the addition of its newest property in Mexico: Las Brisas Mérida, an exclusive boutique hotel strategically located in the Yucatán Peninsula. With the new addition, the Mexican hotel chain now has a total of 13 properties operating under its well-known brands: Las Brisas, Galería Plaza and NIZUC Resort & Spa.
Located on Avenida Colón, one of the main roadways in downtown Mérida, and just minutes from the International Convention Center, Paseo de Montejo and the international airport, Las Brisas Mérida is a boutique hotel with 50 suites with a contemporary design. As the smallest hotel under the Brisas brand, it fuses the functionality of a business class hotel with a natural environment that makes it well-suited for families and leisure travelers.
Its facilities include a restaurant, an outdoor terrace, swimming pool with swim-up bar, gardens and fountains, a furnished central courtyard and a health and wellness center. In addition, it boasts a fitness center and a meeting room. Good to know: Thanks to its commitment to sustainability, Las Brisas Mérida is the first hotel in the city to obtain a LEED certification, an international accreditation recognizing energy efficiency and compliance with high environmental standards.
With the addition of Las Brisas Mérida, the group expands its portfolio in Mexico to six hotels under the Las Brisas brand in Acapulco, Huatulco, Ixtapa, Manzanillo, Querétaro and now Mérida. Galería Plaza hotels can be found in Mexico City (Reforma and San Jerónimo), Veracruz, Irapuato, Monterrey and León. In addition, NIZUC Resort & Spa offers an ultra-luxury experience in Cancun.
