As Hilton enters its fourth quarter, the company is continuing its expansion with brands entering new markets for the first time. Spark by Hilton has announced its first mainland Europe opening in Stuttgart, following country firsts for the brand in Canada and the UK, while Hampton by Hilton enters its fifth continent with its first opening in Africa. From a new ballroom and fitness center at Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport to the introduction of Starlight Patios with fire pits on first-floor suites in Sedona, Hilton is debuting several renovations this season.
New Openings
Hilton Garden Inn Bangkok Riverside: Located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, this hotel is connected to ICONSIAM mall. It features 241 rooms, an all-day restaurant, three meeting rooms, a fitness center and an outdoor pool. Situated a 10-minute walk from the pier, the hotel offers access to a variety of leisure attractions, malls and F&B options available along the Chao Phraya River Express Boat route.
Beach Village at The Del and Shore House at The Del, LXR Hotels & Resorts: LXR Hotels & Resorts will expand its West Coast footprint with the addition of Beach Village at The Del and Shore House at The Del, located within San Diego’s Hotel del Coronado. Beach Village at The Del offers private beachfront cottages and villas, while Shore House at The Del is a boutique oceanfront resort featuring poolside cabanas, a seaside living room bistro, and more. Both properties offer residential-style accommodations, accentuated by various activities and immersive experiences.
The Printing House Hotel Downtown Nashville, Tapestry Collection by Hilton: Inspired by Nashville’s printing history, this pet-friendly hotel offers comfortable guestrooms, terrace and café.
Tempo by Hilton Raleigh Downtown: This hotel marks the brand’s first property in North Carolina. The guestrooms feature comfortable bedding, Bluetooth mirror with speakers, and more. Food & beverage offerings include the brand’s signature Moonsong Cafe & Lounge, and Urban Oak, the rooftop bar. Pelotons can also be found on-site, both in the fitness center and in Tempo Wellness Rooms.
Homewood Suites by Hilton Raleigh Downtown: This hotel offers over 3,400 square feet of meeting space and a rooftop bar and restaurant. Nearby attractions include the North Carolina State Capitol, Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts, and City Market.
Hampton by Hilton Sandton Grayston: This hotel marks the brand debut of Hampton by Hilton in Africa. Located in Johannesburg, the property will feature 158 guestrooms, a welcome zone, fitness area and an outdoor pool.
Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown: The first Canopy by Hilton in South Dakota, this 216-room hotel is expected to open in early fall 2024. The riverfront property offers an on-site restaurant with patio, and nearly 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Guests can explore downtown Sioux Falls with the property’s complimentary bikes.
Other new openings include Hilton Frankfurt Gravenbruch, Germany; Spark by Hilton Stuttgart Sindelfingen, Germany; Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi, Egypt; and DoubleTree by Hilton Mangroovy El Gouna Resort, Egypt.
Renovations
DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Salt Lake City Downtown: has completed an extensive renovation, including a redesigned atrium, lobby, guestrooms, fitness center and indoor pool. The 241 all-suite rooms feature geometric carpeting, upgraded kitchen amenities, and more.
Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport: Directly connected to O’Hare International Airport via an underground walkway, this hotel unveiled its new 8,400-square-foot Coleman Ballroom. It also introduced a new fitness center with over 3,200 square feet of wellness space. Amenities include a yoga + Pilates station; a Hilton virtual training center featuring flat-screen TVs for connectivity to 1:1 sessions; and a variety of equipment and free weights.
Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill: This hotel has completed renovating its public spaces, including its lobby and one of its dining venues, Federal City Bar. The property offers rooms with a direct view of the US Capitol and offers more than 19,000 square feet of event space.
Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock: This 221-room property has completed a multimillion-dollar renovation led by EOA Group. The 10-month project included a guestroom refresh, including an expansion of living rooms; the addition of 60 new Starlight Patios for suites on the first floor, featuring a 36-inch fire bowl; and the remodeled 4,000-square-foot Tequa Ballroom.
Other renovated properties include Hilton Bali Resort; Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront, FL; Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro; and Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa.
