Hilton is launching Hilton Garden Inn Monterrey Obispado, a new Hilton Garden Inn in Mexico's Torre TOP, an upcoming mixed-use project, which could potentially be the country's tallest skyscraper.
The 176-guestroom hotel, located two miles away from San Pedro Garza Garcia, showcases the Monterrey mountain range. Rooms are equipped with a work desk and an in-room “hospitality center” with a mini fridge and coffee maker.
Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center and four meeting rooms with a combined 160-person capacity. Onsite dining includes Garden Grille & Bar, a breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant with fresh fare, and The Shop, a 24 hour to-go spot stocked with locally sourced items, sweet and savory snacks, beverages and pre-prepared foods.
Guests can use Hilton Garden Inn Monterrey Obispado’s complimentary shuttle service to reach destinations within five miles of the property, which include Macroplaza, Santa Lucia walkway, Metropolitan Cathedral, Mirador del Obispado, Fundidora Park and Museo del Acero Horno 3. The hotel is located near medical establishments such as Christus Muguerza Hospital and Sierra Madre Hospital. It stands in front of the San Pedro corporate and financial area.
Hilton’s portfolio includes nearly 160 resorts and hotels across 25 countries in the Caribbean and Latin America, along with nearly 70 properties in Mexico. The company is looking to expand its Caribbean and Latin American collection to more than 100 hotels throughout the region, including 30 in Mexico.
In other Hilton news, the company is planning to launch three hotels in Resorts World Las Vegas. The Hilton Hotels & Resorts, LXR and Conrad brands are slated to join the 3,500-room resort on the Las Vegas Strip in 2021.
