Hôtel Dame des Arts, a new lifestyle hotel, is set to open in February 2023 in Saint-Germain on Paris’ Rive Gauche. The independent hotel will have 109 bedrooms and suites, a rooftop bar, a restaurant with an adjacent garden courtyard, a gym and wellness facilities. Paris-based designer Raphael Navot has spearheaded the interior design of the 1950s building.
The Rooftop Bar showcases 360-degree city views that include the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Coeur, the golden dome of Les Invalides and Notre Dame Cathedral. The Rooftop Bar and an indoor restaurant with an adjacent outdoor garden courtyard will be conceptualized by the former operational director of Experimental Group, Matthieu Alfandari. Chef Othoniel Alvarez Castaneda will bring a sustainably minded culinary vision to the hotel, with seasonal dishes that fuse classic French cuisine with the lively spirit of the North Pacific.
Each guestroom is individually designed and more than one-third of the bedrooms and suites have an outdoor terrace overlooking the rooftops of Paris.
Located in the 6th Arrondissement, the hotel is a short stroll from Notre Dame Cathedral and the Seine River, allowing easy access to the Right Bank. With picnic hampers and bikes available for guests and a series of curated “neighborhood guides,” guests are encouraged to explore the area for themselves. Completely dedicated to the arts, the hotel will launch its own cultural insights and activities which will include cocktail master classes, workshops to create bespoke personal fragrance, cinema screenings and insider knowledge to Paris’ art and cultural hidden gems.
