IHG Hotels & Resorts and Dart Properties are preparing to unveil their latest Caribbean resort, Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman. The grand opening is currently scheduled for this April.
Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman will have 282 guestrooms and suites, a multi-concept epicurean hub for dining and an outdoor deck with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. A highlight of the property will be the island's first rooftop lounge, which will serve cocktails and Latin-inspired fare. Other facilities include over 7,500 square feet of meeting and event space.
The opening of Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman represents Dart Properties’ IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio expansion, currently comprising the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa. Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman provides guests with convenient access to Seven Mile Beach, Stingray City, Camana Bay's high-fashion boutiques and the National Gallery's Caymanian arts. The hotel offers an array of experiences, from poolside lounging to creative culinary concepts, including a reservation-only and rotating concept exhibition kitchen, a sushi counter, and the area's first premier rooftop lounge.
Every Hotel Indigo takes inspiration from its local neighborhood. Overseeing the hotel's architecture and interior design is Farouki Farouki, a New Orleans-based architecture and interior design practice. The art and design pay tribute to the island's natural landscapes, historical figures and cultural traditions (think hand-made pottery vessels and curated artwork by Caymanian and Caribbean artists). Guestrooms will offer modern amenities such as HDTV, Bluetooth radio and rain shower heads. Guests cal also expect a 24-hour onsite fitness center, premium poolside cabana service, beach chair and umbrella services, premium high-speed Wi-Fi and complimentary bikes for island exploration.
Reservations for stays beginning June 1, 2024, can now be made at grandcayman.hotelindigo.com, with earlier dates becoming available as opening day approaches.
