A slew of luxury hotels are slated to open across Europe in 2019. Here are five of our favorites at Travel Agent Central:
Savoy Palace: This Madeira, Portugal hotel, slated to open in April 2019, is going to be the first member of The Leading Hotels of the World to hit the destination. It is in the island’s capital of Funchal in walking distance to the Old Town. Its more than 350 guestrooms were designed by RH+ architecture and interior designer Nini Andrade Silva. The Amerikalinjen Hotel: This Oslo, Norway hotel is scheduled to open in March 2019. The place of stay is the sister property of The Thief, which opened on the destination’s waterfront in 2013. Iberostar Fontana di Trevi: This is the hotel brand’s first venture into the center of The Eternal City. Scheduled to open next year, it will be situated on one of the main streets in Rome’s historic center, between the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. The hotel stands just off Via del Corso. Grand Park Hotel Rovinj: Scheduled to open in Spring 2019, this Croatian hotel will feature views of St. Euphemia church and Catarina island. It will have more than 190 guestrooms and nearly 20 suites. The property was designed via partnership between Maistra Hospitality group and local architecture studio 3LHD, which has also designed other Rovinj properties. The Hôtel du Palais: Set to partially open between July and October of 2019, this Biarritz, France hotel is the sixth property in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt in Europe. Final renovations are slated to be finished for a complete reopening in June 2020.
