Hotel Xcaret Mexico has opened its exclusive on-site chapel, the new Capilla de Todos los Ángeles (All Angels Chapel), located on the highest point of the Xpiral Pyramid. The chapel serves as a venue for couples who choose the Mexican Caribbean as the location for their wedding ceremony.
Located on one of the highest points of the property, Hotel Xcaret Mexico’s chapel provides views of the ocean and property grounds.
The chapel decor is characterized by an altar carved out of a large boulder and benches made from natural stone and wood. The location offers two access points either through a set of stairs or a ramp. Couples also have the option of having an alfresco ceremony with the sliding doors to let in the breeze, or having a closed-door ceremony with air conditioning.
In addition to weddings, other ceremonies can take place at the chapel, such as baptisms, where guests can enjoy sounds of the Xcaret choir and traditional Mexican indigenous drummers.
When there are no ceremonies scheduled, Catholic mass will be held every Sunday at the new chapel, offering hotel guests the opportunity to visit this sanctuary without tying the knot.
Couples can choose from three wedding packages that range from basic that includes a Minister, wedding coordinator, makeup and hair stylist for the bride, and wedding cake, to premium package that includes live music, a private dinner and a premium bar.
The Xpiral Pyramid opened in March and, in addition to the chapel, it offers a lounge that can host a variety of events, a restaurant and the Hotel Xcaret’s X Lounge. From the top of Xpiral, guests get access to views of the Mexican Caribbean from more than 160 feet above sea level.
