The Cape Coral and Fort Myers community is bouncing back from Hurricane Ian. Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village is getting ready to welcome guests back to the tranquil waterfront destination very soon.
The resort will reopen for overnight guests on November 1, 2022. As part of the reopening, locals and guests can enjoy lunch or dinner at Nauti Mermaid and Marker 92, which both reopened on October 21 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., with live entertainment offered every Friday, Saturday, and select Sundays.
According to a press note, “The resort is lucky to have sustained only cosmetic damages that are actively being repaired.”
The resort has provided additional updates related to its phased reopening:
- Starting October 24, the resort will host emergency personnel and first responders
- Starting October 25 from 7a.m. to 10 a.m., grab-and-go breakfast will be served
- The main resort pool will be open for guests starting November 1, 2022
- Westin Cape Coral’s water taxi to Fort Myers Beach will be on hold during marina repairs. In the meantime, guests can enjoy access to complimentary bikes, fun in the pool and access to the private recreation center and other outdoor activities
