Huttopia and Worldia’s New Partnership Rides on Surging Outdoor Journey Demand

Outdoor getaway brand Huttopia launched a new strategic partnership this month with Worldia, a travel platform utilized by travel advisors. The new alliance allows advisors to seamlessly book a stay at a Huttopia property across Europe or North America, alongside other aspects of a getaway like car rentals, plane tickets and activities.

French family-owned Huttopia has more than 130 sites and has more recently started expanding into North America. Upcoming openings including Huttopia outposts in California Wine Country and the Berkshires in New England as well as Laurentides in Québec, Canada, and additional properties in France, Spain, and Portugal in Europe.

"With seven—and soon nine—destinations in North America, Huttopia’s rapid growth is fueled by the trust and strong relationships with travel partners,” Amélie Brouhard, chief marketing and sales officer for Huttopia North America, said in a statement.

The Worldia partnership arrives amid a greater push into outdoor accommodation offerings by the likes of Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt—a signal travelers increasingly want to experience getaways beyond a hotel.

Huttopia’s properties often comprises a mix of camp pitches, tented accommodations and cabins for guests to enjoy the great outdoors. Each Huttopia property offers amenities like a central lodge, heated swimming pool, camp store, café and outdoor offerings like mountain biking and lake swimming.

“Our users can now plan every detail of their travelers’ adventures, from unique stays in nature to the essential services that make a trip complete, all under one platform,” added Erwan Corre, co-founder and CSO of Worldia, in a statement.
