Hyatt Hotels has officially opened Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa, a new all-inclusive beachfront property located in Miches on the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic. The family-friendly resort joins the adults-only Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa as part of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection portfolio, marking continued expansion of the Dreams Resorts & Spas brand.

The newly built resort features 500 rooms and suites with garden, pool or oceanfront views, with select accommodations offering swim-out access. Among the highlights are three pools, a waterpark with slides and splash zones, a fitness center and access to Secrets Spa, which includes massage cabins, a hydrotherapy circuit and a full-service salon. At the center of Dreams Playa Esmeralda and its sister property is the Public Square, a shared hub with dining, shopping, and entertainment. Guests at both resorts can meet in this space, with adults staying at either property able to enjoy full reciprocal access.

Situated along Playa Costa Esmeralda, the resort gives travelers access to some of the Dominican Republic’s most untouched landscapes, including Montaña Redonda, Los Haitises National Park and Samaná Bay.
