Hyatt Hotels has announced the opening of Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica, marking the Hyatt Centric lifestyle brand’s sixth hotel in California and the 101st Hyatt hotel in the “Golden State.”
The former Le Méridien Delfina Santa Monica has been rebranded as Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica. The Los Angeles property will continue to be managed by Viceroy Hotel Group, an operating division of Highgate.
The hotel is expected to undergo a $16 million refurbishment. The refresh will include the property’s lobby, guest arrival area, 315 guestrooms, dining experience, and nearly 15,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel also has a fitness facility, including an outdoor pool and whirlpool.
The refresh of Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica is slated to begin this fall, with a phased approach so as to not disrupt operations during the improvements.
The property is part of the World of Hyatt loyalty program. The hotel is just steps away from Santa Monica Pier, Third Street Promenade, Venice Beach Boardwalk and the retail district.
Guests will receive 15 percent off when staying a minimum of one qualifying night between September 18, 2024 and October 31, 2025, when using the code “15OFF”; World of Hyatt members will receive 17 percent off with the code “MBRS15”. To redeem this offer, reservations must be made between August 26, 2024 and October 31, 2024. Terms apply.
