Marriott International has announced the opening of the JW Marriott Panama in Panama City. The property, formerly The Bahia Grand Panama Hotel, has an ocean front location in Panama’s 932-foot building – the tallest in Central America.
Situated in the neighborhood of Punta Pacifica, JW Marriott Panama is located within minutes of the city’s main commercial, banking and entertainment areas. The property has 369 guestrooms and 41 suites, each equipped with terraces and private balconies that provide views of the Gulf of Panama and city skyline.
The hotel’s dining options offer a range flavors. Specializing in international fusion cuisine, the Barcelona restaurant takes travelers on a complete gastronomic journey with a modern twist. JW Marriott Panama’s Tejas restaurant showcases Caribbean cuisine infused with a touch of innovative culinary techniques. Azul, JW Marriott Panama’s oceanfront restaurant, offers a healthy menu inclusive of light appetizers rooted in local traditional flavors. Located on the main level of the hotel, Bar Cava 15 is an elegant but relaxed bar that serves as the ideal spot for guests to enjoy specialty cocktails as they sample highlights from the unique fusion menu.
