Hacienda Jurica by Brisas, a historic hotel located in the suburbs of Queretaro, is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Originally a large estate from the 16th century, the hotel classic colonial architecture, arches and stone walls, as well as 239 guestrooms and suites and opportunities for guests to immerse themselves in Mexican culture with traditional cuisine, live music and a horse-drawn carriage tour.
Inspired by traditional Mexican décor, the rooms are done in a color palette of yellow and orange complementing oak wood furniture and natural stone walls. The hotel also has balcony guestrooms overlooking the Mediterranean courtyard and junior suites with a king-size bed and a jacuzzi. Several amenities include a swimming pool with a waterfall a snack bar; a fully equipped gym; a tennis court; and a spa that offers facials, personalized massages and a couple's experience. For younger guests, a Little Angels Kids Club provides craft and sporting activities daily for ages four to 12.

Throughout its development, the hotel introduced its brand-new Convention Center, which offers ample space to host hundreds of attendees who carry out conferences and grand events on property. The contemporary stand-alone facility includes high speed internet, conference call system, fully equipped kitchen, parking lot, loading/unloading area and independent access.
Upcoming, Hacienda Jurica is scheduled to undergo renovations in the coming months on 182 of its rooms, maintaining the property's historic elements, but with a more modern and contemporary feel.
