Le Sereno will reopen its doors on October 27 for the 2022-23 season. Located in the Grand Cul-de-Sac nature reserve on St. Barth’s, the beach resort has unveiled new experiences and programming for guests.
Ristorante Al Mare will offer an upscale beachside setting, serving signature dishes with emphasis on local seafood, crudos, homemade pastas and shareable dishes, besides a refreshed wine and cocktail program. Additionally, new to the 2022 season, Le Sereno will launch its first-ever signature Negroni menu offering a creative twist on the Italian drink.
The “St. Barth’s Gourmet Festival” is slated to be held from November 8-13. This year, Le Sereno brings Chef Georgiana Viou, head of Rouge restaurant in Nîmes, to present her Marseille-inspired take on Caribbean dining. Chef Viou will be taking over the resort’s Ristorante Al Mare for the full week to showcase her recipes, inspired by her roots in Benin and the south of France, enabling guests to discover the dishes of her home country.
Le Sereno has also launched a wellness program featuring nature explorations, mindfulness activities and healthful dining. The resort’s spa features an outdoor spa pavilion and a beachfront treatment room. This season’s wellness package includes: a daily healthy juice served at the restaurant or beach bar; a curated healthful menu at Ristorante Al Mare; a choice of two outdoor activities which could include a private yoga class, fitness class or paddleboard yoga during the stay; a hiking experience with panoramic views of St. Barth’s; a choice of two Valmont spa treatments during the stay; and complimentary water activities including snorkeling, kayaking and paddleboarding.
Le Sereno kicks off its “Artist in Residence” program with Rowena Caanen to offer guests a complimentary art class. The guided painting classes will be conducted beachside in the restaurant area, where participants can also enjoy special beverages.
Caanen is a Netherlands native who lives in St. Barth’s, using life on the island as her daily inspiration. She works with locals and internationals alike in the local art scene to capture the island’s beauty through painting. Her artworks mirror the natural world, highlighting through careful details its beauty and power, but also the importance of its preservation.
Guests can also look forward to the “St. Barths’ Artweek,” which will be held from November 22-29. It will feature prominent names in fashion photography. Le Sereno will participate in the festival for the second year, showcasing notable photographers including Antoine Verglas for “St Barth’s Blends” programming on November 24.
The resort offers flexible booking terms and rates with a 15-day cancelation policy.
