The Legoland Hotel at Dubai Parks and Resorts has opened its doors. Well-suited for children between the age of two to 12 years, the property is the first of its kind in the Middle East.
The Lego-themed family hotel has 250 rooms spread over five stories. The experience begins as visitors drive up to the hotel and spot a full-sized build of Ollie the Dragon. Stepping inside, a kid-sized check-in will ensure children are invited to enjoy the experience before they head for the play areas. Children can join Lego workshops or have fun watching Master Model Builders at work.
Lego-themed wall graphics and carpets cover each floor of the hotel. Families can choose from five themed rooms, including “Pirate,” “Adventure,” “Lego Ninjago,” “Lego Friends,” and “Kingdom.” Each family room accommodates up to five people, with a separate area for children complete with a bunk bed and trundle bed, plus a king-sized bed for adults. Larger families can opt to stay in one of the hotel’s suites, which are designed to accommodate up to eight people. Features include an in-room treasure hunt, Lego Dulpo bricks to play with during the stay and Lego models to match the room décor.
The Bricks Family Restaurant offers daily breakfast and dinner, with a kid-friendly buffet, while Skyline Lounge features kid-friendly menus and offers views of a Lego skyline.
Other facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with a separate splash pad for children, a retail shop and a disco-themed elevator. Popular Lego characters will also make appearances at the hotel. Guests can enjoy access to the Legoland theme park and water park, besides other theme parks at Dubai Parks and Resorts, including Motiongate Dubai and Bollywood Parks Dubai.
