The Newman hotel in Fitzrovia, London, has shared details about its spa and wellness concept as it prepares to launch later this summer. Created in collaboration with Raison d’Etre, Wellness at The Newman spans an entire hotel floor and showcases a concept influenced by Nordic wellness culture. The facility's list of amenities includes a halotherapy room, medical-grade LED light treatments and customized experiences.
One of the most exciting spaces will be a medical-grade halotherapy room, with a focus on supporting respiratory health, skin conditions and overall well-being. The room incorporates patented technology that disperses microscopic salt particles into the air while also functioning as a relaxation area, complete with heated benches. Alongside the halotherapy room, guests will have access to an Ice Lounge, a cold-air environment that complements the heat-based therapies and enhances the overall wellness experience. There will also be a Finnish sauna and steam room, multi-sensory experience showers and a hydrotherapy plunge pool. Wellness treatments, specially curated for The Newman, are designed around the pillars of “Explore, Engage and Recover,” in response to different needs.
In line with Wellness at The Newman’s approach is a partnership with Hyperice, a leader in recovery technology that provides a range of tools including Normatec compression boots and a heat therapy belt. Further enhancing the experience is a collaboration with Déesse PRO, providing guests with access to advanced, medical-grade LED light treatments.
Complementing this menu and tranquil setting is a salt-walled studio where a comprehensive schedule of classes is offered to support both physical and mental well-being. There’s also a gym with personal training available upon request.
Additionally, the Penthouse Suite at The Newman offers a private terrace complete with an ice bath, sauna, shower, fire pit and dedicated space for spa treatments, yoga, Pilates and movement practices.
The Newman is the first hotel from hospitality management company Kinsfolk & Co.
