Lore Group has announced that it is on track to officially open Hotel Park Ave this month. The group has completed a two-phased refurbishment after acquiring the former Mondrian Park Avenue hotel in November 2024. Hotel Park Ave marks Lore Group’s seventh hotel property.

Earlier this year, Hotel Park Ave underwent a two-phased renovation led by Lore Group Creative Director Jacu Strauss. The project included a refresh to all guestrooms, followed by a new lobby. At the end of May, Hotel Park Ave also unveiled the completion of nine spacious suites. These include:

  • Nomad Penthouse – Located on the hotel’s top floor, this suite offers large balconies providing views over Park Avenue and the NoMad district. Set across 1,275 square feet, the suite has a king-size primary bedroom, a separate living area with a sofa, dining table for six, wet bar, study area and exclusive library wall curated in partnership with Phaidon. The main bathroom includes a double vanity basin, an oversized walk-in shower and marble tiling. A second bedroom with its own private balcony can be added to transform the space into a two-bedroom retreat.
  • Studio Balcony Suites – These one-bedroom suites, located on the hotel’s upper floors, include a king-sized bed, a separate living room with bespoke furniture, a study area, a dining table for four, and a large walk-out balcony with seating and city views. The primary bathroom includes twin vanity sinks, a walk-in shower with a double shower head and marble countertops. Spanning 525 square feet, these suites can be combined with a second Studio Balcony King bedroom.
  • Studio Loft Suites – Spanning 625 square feet, these one-bedroom suites include a king-sized bed, a separate living room with bespoke furniture, a study area and a separate guest restroom, as well as Juliet windows to make the most of the city skyline views. The bathroom includes marble countertops and a walk-in double-headed rain shower.

New dining concepts across the hotel’s rooftop terrace bar and ground-level restaurant will be announced in fall 2025.
