Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancún All Inclusive Spa Resort is kicking off the 2022 season with three new dining experiences.
The resort has launched The Table as a standalone dining option. This interactive, 360-degree dining experience takes guests on a culinary journey through Mexico’s history, while guests enjoy a nine-course tasting menu paired with beverages. While the completely customized 20-person communal dining table displays vivid video of the country’s past—from the prehistoric period to modern day—live music and actors illustrate various moments throughout history as a narrator depicts the journey.
The Table is open for adult hotel guests only Fridays and Sundays with two seatings at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. A $150 surcharge (per person) applies unless the guest has chosen the hotel’s Infinite Club level for their holiday, where the surcharge will be $75.
At the Asian-fusion restaurant, Nah K’aax, guests can sip signature cocktails with their toes in the sand while dining on a menu steeped in Mexican-Asian flavors. Those seeking lighter fare will appreciate the fresh seafood options from the restaurant’s sushi bar. Guests can enjoy a fire show on Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. or dance to the nightly house DJ. Nah K’aax is open Sunday through Friday from 7-11 p.m. Reservations are not required.
In Mexico, there is a selection of familiar favorite foods referred to as “antojitos,” or little cravings. These small savory bites—served anytime day or night—are usually found at local food stands and are meant to be enjoyed as either an appetizer or a bite after a few drinks. Located poolside near the Bikini Bar and open daily from 12-4 p.m., Coral Beach offers its own La Antojeria, where guests can choose from four flavorful Mexican savories filled with fresh, authentic ingredients.
