Near Lille, France's two major train stations and the Rem Koolhaas-designed Euralille business district, MAMA Shelter Lille, a new addition to the hotel chain, gives travelers a base from which to explore the French and Flemish city near Belgium.
In the hotel's restaurant is a long table where everyone can sit. Fare is served using local produce and fresh ingredients. There is even a fire pit to warm up the evening. An outdoor terrace serves as a gathering space, while four ateliers can be rented for creative types, alongside a 46-seat cinema for screenings and presentations.
The covered rooftop includes a kitchen for gatherings. Those looking to find live music sets, cool drinks and a warm atmosphere can head to the lounge.
Accommodations at MAMA Shelter include 112 rooms. Guests can watch TV, listen to the radio, and have free Internet access on the rooms’ screens. Additionally, free movies are at the guests’ disposal.
Integrated in the hotel’s mobile app is a Photobooth and Videobooth for guests to make their own souvenir. Skincare souvenirs are available as well, with the MAMA SKIN range of organic cosmetics designed in partnership with Absolution. Some of the products come with the room, and more are available in the store.
