INNSiDE Calviá Beach hotel, the new hotel from Meliá Hotels International in Magaluf, has announced its summer 2019 introduction.
As one of the pioneering holiday destinations in Mallorca and the Mediterranean, Magaluf has become a center of innovation over the last eight years. Following private investment of almost $280 million – with $50 million invested in Momentum Plaza and INNSiDE Calviá Beach hotel – this summer’s opening of the hotel marks the final phase of the company’s Magaluf transformation project.
In addition to 270 guest rooms, the Calviá Beach hotel also has a rooftop area with restaurants, bars, and transparent floating pools overlooking the beachfront. INNSiDE Calviá Beach will partner with local artists to host a series of events on the hotel ground floor.
The project, which began in 2012, has created a social hub in the center of Magaluf, parallel to the beachfront. The new INNSiDE Calviá Beach hotel is located next to Momentum Plaza and a short drive away from the city of Palma.
With sustainability in mind, INNSiDE Calviá Beach has been built following strict environmental responsibility and energy efficiency criteria. The hotel is free from single-use plastic and will use sustainable towels, linen and yoga mats made of cork.
Rooftop Nine and Food Factory serve as Calviá Beach’s culinary hotspots. Rooftop Nine’s menu consists of Mediterranean dishes and cocktails, whilst Food Factory provides a curated buffet menu made with seasonal Mallorcan ingredients.
Designed as an all-in-one destination, the hotel has four modern swimming pools, two of which are suspended on the hotel’s rooftop.
