The Dream Hollywood just opened its doors in Los Angeles.
Wednesday, July 12 was the official opening day for the new hotel, located on the corner of Selma Avenue and North Cahuenga Boulevard – a “buzzing” location in the area, according to hotel officials.
The hotel was designed by award-winning architecture firm Rockwell Group, while its façade is designed by Los Angeles-based Killefer Flammang Architects. The feel of the hotel is meant to be “hyper-chic and comfortable,” paying homage to Los Angeles’ mid-century architecture while also being complemented by garden inspired elements.
Chief Executive Officer of Dream Hotel Group Jay Stein said in a written release that the company “could not be more excited” to welcome their guests and the community to the hotel. He believes The Dream Hollywood “sets a new standard of hospitality” and is becoming “a hotbed for creativity, culture and entertainment.”
Within the hotel are 178 guest rooms and suites – including a 1,800-square foot Guest House suite with a private screening room with 360-degree views – along with a rooftop pool, restaurant and lounge overlooking views of the Hollywood Hills and city skyline. There is also a gym and wellness program designed by celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson, who has worked with Kim Kardashian as well as the Los Angeles Lakers. Peterson offers personal training while also selecting a group of elite trainers to be available to guests upon request. They will offer personal wellness routines catered to individual needs that are designed to provide the “celebrity training experience.” The hotel’s rooftop will also host a curriculum of group workouts.
In addition, guests at Dream Hollywood can get access to the all-new Lincoln Continental Black Label, Lincoln MKZ Black Label and Lincoln Navigator. They will also be able to enjoy welcome amenities and special co-hosted events.
In the fall, a 3,000 square foot meeting space is set to open within the hotel as well. These spaces are meant to accommodate different events, including meetings, exhibits and gala dinner banquets.
Dream Hollywood general manager Ayo Akinsete said in the release that she is “incredibly proud” to introduce the hotel to the local community. She said that the hotel “injects new life and excitement into Hollywood” as the neighborhood continues to grow.
