The Hyatt Regency San Francisco has completed a two-year renovation that included its lobby, Regency Club guestrooms, Bayview Studio Suites and Balcony Suites, as well as the addition of new meeting rooms and a new food and beverage experience.
Based around an “Urban Retreat” concept, the design by Looney & Associates was derived from the mirrored reflections throughout the hotel’s surrounding landscape. The renovation of the hotel’s 57 Regency Club guestrooms, 15 Bayview Studio Suites and 26 Balcony Suites completes the two-year-long master transformation for Hyatt Regency San Francisco, which included two new waterfront meeting rooms in the atrium, a new grab-n-go food & beverage outlet and complete renovation of the Regency Club Lounge and lobby-level Eclipse Kitchen & Bar.
The hotel’s latest accommodation renovations include updated furnishings and finishes that reference the building’s architecture. The new Regency Club guestrooms and premium suites aim to evoke a calmer, more modern feel, including a sleek tile floor entryway that lead guests into the room. Each newly renovated guestroom and suite also has contemporary decor, destination-inspired artwork, metal and wood finishes, modern light fixtures, a Sealy Posturepedic Euro Pillowtop bed with power outlets and USB ports built-in on the either side of the headboard, a chaise lounge and oversized flat-screen television. The bathroom vanity area has a large backlit mirror and wall mount bath shelf for additional storage space. Regency Club guests will also receive private access to the hotel’s renovated Regency Club Lounge located on the 17th floor, which serves complimentary daily breakfast, afternoon refreshments and evening hors d'oeuvres.
The newly refreshed Bayview Studio Suites have 506 square feet of space, views of the San Francisco Bay and Bay Bridge, while Balcony Suites have 589 square feet of living space with separate master bedroom, one bathroom, one half-bathroom and a large balcony overlooking the city or Bay. All of the premier suites offer a sleeper sofa and many of the premier suites can be connected to a second guestroom.
