Minor Hotels has announced its first NH Hotels & Resorts branded property in the Indian Ocean. NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort is set to open on September 1, 2024. Located in South Ari Atoll, approximately 25 minutes by seaplane from the capital Malé, NH Maldives Kuda Rah will offer access to diving and snorkeling sites.
In all, NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort will offer 51 deluxe suites and villas, each with an inner courtyard or beachfront pool. Activities that guests can enjoy include island-hopping excursions, diving and snorkeling experiences, coral planting initiatives, whale shark excursions and big game fishing expeditions.
Food and beverage options at NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort include the all-day restaurant Sea Spray, offering an international buffet-style menu; at specialty restaurant Ocean, seafood delicacies are served a la carte; Glow, the bar and lounge overlooking the resort’s central infinity pool, offers beverages and snacks; and Malaa, with its open-air show kitchen, invites guests to explore seafood-driven local cuisine through cooking classes. Tip: In-villa or beachside dining experiences can also be arranged on request.
The spa houses three treatment rooms, each equipped with a private steam room and jacuzzi, complemented by a manicure and pedicure room. The spa’s treatment menu focuses on traditional Balinese and Thai massages alongside therapeutic options infused with local touches. Other facilities on property include a gym, an indoor kids’ club and babysitting services.
