Nikko Style Niseko Hanazono, the second hotel in Japan under the Nikko Style lifestyle-hotel brand of Okura Nikko Hotels, will open on December 15, 2024. The first property to open as part of this brand was Nikko Style Nagoya, which opened in August 2020.
The hotel offers a total of 234 rooms decked out with modern amenities. Rooms on the seventh and eighth floors are equipped with their own natural hot spring baths. Guests staying in Deluxe and Studio Suites will have access to the Nikko Club Lounge, where they can enjoy complimentary breakfast, afternoon cocktails, light meals and alcoholic beverages. Additional facilities include a gym, a large public bath, a dry sauna, an open-air bath and relaxation spaces.
Dining options include Style Kitchen, a versatile dining space that caters to both casual and formal needs. A buffet is offered for breakfast and dinner, besides an à la carte menu for lunch. Guests can also enjoy course dinners in private rooms with fireplaces. The Cafe & Bar offers coffee as well as gin, wine and local beers from the Shiribeshi region.
Good to know: In celebration of its grand opening, the hotel is offering a new Nikko Style Suite Plan for groups. The package, “Experience Powder Holiday,” allows larger groups to book the Nikko Style Suite, with its hot spring bath, and the adjacent 602-square-foot suite for a minimum of three nights. The Nikko Style Suite is directly connected to the 720-square-foot Rooftop Lounge and spans 1,162 square feet. The package includes a welcome box filled with popular items from the Niseko area, daily breakfast at the Nikko Club Lounge on the second floor, and an après-ski service with champagne and a cheese platter. Two special course dinners with wine pairing, a half-day tour to Yoichi, Otaru, Sapporo or Lake Shikotsu on the last day, and free transportation in the Niseko area are also included.
The Nikko Style Plan is a new addition to the hotel’s previously announced range of Commemorative Opening Packages. These were originally designed to apply to stays commencing on or after January 20, 2025. However, to address the expected peak holiday demand during Christmas and the New Year period, guests will now be able to make advance reservations for all of these packages for stays from December 15, 2024 to February 25, 2025. Reservations must be made between September 19, 2024 and February 25, 2025.
