UNICO 20˚87˚ Hotel Riviera Maya, a new adults-only, all-inclusive hotel in Mexico, has just celebrated its official opening, welcoming its first guests to the property.
The hotel aims to draw Millennial travelers with designs meant to reflect each property’s local environment and culture.
At UNICO 20˚87˚ Hotel Riviera Maya, guests can expect 448 guestrooms with predominantly ocean views, with semi-private swim-up pools on all ground floor rooms and outdoor double-hyro spa tubs on the remaining rooms. Guestrooms also have an in-room mini bar with cocktail fixings stocked based on guest preference.
Elsewhere on the property, travelers can check out three pools, a wellness center, a spa with 18 cabins, five restaurants and six bars and lounges, including a cigar lounge and two swim-up bars. Guests will also be able to purchase art from local artisans both in-room and throughout the property.
Other amenities include the Esencia Beauty Bar, located in the Esencia Wellness area, where guests can select their own personalized in-room amenities made with local ingredients.
For weddings and other events, the property will have an 11,600 square foot ballroom, two breakout rooms and outdoor event space.
The hotel will also offer programming ranging from mexcal tastings and cocktail hour by the Executive Mixologist to custom beer gardens, Art Attack competitions and acoustic sunset jams.
Rates will include all food and beverages, select spa treatments and off-property excursions, and unlimited golf.
