Hyatt Hotels has announced the opening of Park Hyatt London River Thames. Located in the South West London district of Nine Elms, the property marks the debut of the Park Hyatt brand in the United Kingdom.
As the name suggests, many of the hotel’s 203 guestrooms afford views of the Thames River and the Houses of Parliament. Beyond that, F&B options at the hotel include The Nine Elms Kitchen & Terrace, which showcases cuisine prepared with seasonal ingredients; The Nine Elms Bar & Lounge, serving signature cocktails and light bites; the soon-to-open TAMISé tea lounge and wine library , which will offer afternoon tea besides wine and cheese pairings along with river views; and a Cantonese restaurant that's expected to open later this year.
An entire floor of the hotel is dedicated to rejuvenation, complete with a spa that offers river views. Guests can also enjoy a 1,550-square-foot fitness center and a 65 foot-by-26-foot indoor pool, six treatment rooms and a relaxation lounge.
With its central London location and proximity to the U.S. Embassy, Park Hyatt London River Thames is well equipped to host a range of events. The hotel has 14,337 square feet of meeting space. The versatile ballroom with a capacity for up to 830 guests can also be divided into three smaller spaces. An additional seven meeting rooms can also be opened to form one large space and connect to an expansive foyer.
Just a short walk from Battersea Power Station, the hotel sits between more than 200 acres of green space at Battersea Park and a number of cultural draws, including the Oval cricket ground and the Tate Britain. Other nearby attractions include the London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.
