The first phase of the 540-key Royal Uno All Inclusive Resort & Spa is officially open. The beachfront property is located in the Cancun Hotel Zone and offers views of the Caribbean Sea and Nichupte Lagoon. Just steps away from the Mayan Museum and the archeological site San Miguelito, the resort is a 10-minute drive from shopping malls, nightclubs and golf courses and a 20-minute drive from Cancun International Airport.
The resort is home to five restaurants and four bars, including Os, an open-kitchen concept serving international cuisine; Palotinte, which offers Mexican fare; Snack Shack with its selection of street food dishes; Kukul Cantina, a bar with live music; and a café and a grab-and-go counter. Miamare and Aora restaurants will open in late summer this year during the second phase. Also slated to open during the second phase is Alea Spa, along with a fitness center and beauty salon.
The resort’s Uno Kids Club has several play areas with slides and tunnels, foosball tables, board games and a daily roster of programming. Teenagers can play shuffleboard, bumper pool, ping pong, soccer and beach volleyball. The resort’s Cancool Family Room offers video games and handicrafts, among other activities. Families can read, play lottery, card and board games and watch movies.
Other amenities include two oversized pools and a children’s pool with a water play area, swim-up bar, beach bar and a watersports lagoon. Guests will have direct access to the beach, besides kayaks and sailboats on the lagoon. The resort also offers daily activities and entertainment in the evenings.
Deal: The resort’s “Mid-Year” offer includes 25 percent discount on the all-inclusive stay, a $500 resort credit and a complimentary one-way private airport transfer. Available until August 15, 2022, it is valid for stays up to December 15, 2023.
