O:live Hotels has announced the opening of its newest property, the all-suite O:LV Fifty Five Hotel, located in the heart of San Juan’s Condado neighborhood in Puerto Rico. The 26-suite, newly constructed property is the latest hotel from the O:live Boutique Hotel brand. O:LV Fifty Five is inspired by the designers, locals and artists met while traveling globally. It is opening this month.
O:LV Fifty Five has 26 rooms, most with “L” shaped balconies offering views of the Condado Lagoon, a natural reserve with manatees and sea rays. The hotel is also home to two restaurants and a two-level rooftop. Film noir art, along with black and white marble floors, define the contemporary interiors. The space also includes brass details and ebony wood cabinets. The double-tiered rooftop is home to a climate-controlled infinity pool taking center stage on the first tier, with lagoon and cityscape views. The second tier offers a guests-only solarium with a jacuzzi.
O:live Hotels says O:LV Fifty Five is designed for and around today’s global creative traveler in search of inspiration. In 2012, O:live Hotels opened the O:live Boutique Hotel as the first boutique hotel in Puerto Rico – giving its guests a more Mediterranean aesthetic through its European design, ambience and amenities. Selected as one of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, O:live won the title of Best Boutique Hotel from Conde Nast Johansen’s, Most Instagrammable Hotel from Small Luxury Hotels, Boutique Hotel of the Year from The Caribbean Journal, Best New Boutique Hotel of the World in 2013 and Best Design Hotel of the World in 2014 as awarded by London’s Boutique Hotel Awards.
