Luxury hotel Halekulani in Oahu, situated steps away from Waikiki Beach, has announced the reopening of SpaHalekulani following extensive renovations. Designed by New York City-based Champalimaud Design, the expanded space now has three private spa suites with spa butlers, a full spa menu, salon, boutique and five additional treatment rooms, as well as a Skin Care Suite.
The three new private spa suites include the ADA-compliant NAHE WAI, which has a rain shower and Welnamis Vibroacoustic Table by Gharieni with four self-guided programs promoting mental clarity and relaxation; UAHI WAI, completed by a steam chamber with personalized scents and massage table; and PU’UWAI for couples, which has two massage tables. All spa suites have a private outdoor cabana offering post-treatment tea and refreshments.
Spa butlers will consult with guests prior to arrival, curating a bespoke experience based on preferences and wellness goals. The spa has also engaged specialized practitioners in areas, including acupuncture and sound healing to complement its existing team of experts.
Select spa treatments on offer include the "Healing Botanical Massage," using therapeutic CBD products combined with skilled techniques to relieve pain and discomfort; "Hale Kawehewehe," a revitalizing exfoliation, followed by a furo soak infused with healing herbs and traditional lomilomi massage; "Halekulani Timeless," a facial incorporating the spa’s Epicutis collection; and the "Supreme Hydrafacial," which includes lymphatic therapy, customized mask, booster, LED light and hyaluronic acid. Nail care, hair styling and makeup are also available.
The spa also offers fresh and nourishing post-treatment fare and signature beverages.
In addition, SpaHalekulani’s newly designed salon offers weightless pedicures in zero-gravity chairs designed by NASA; multisensory heat massage with goggles by Therabody; and the new YUME head spa, designed in Japan, with steam and waterfall features for hair health. A new apothecary-style Spa Boutique offers curated wellness products, such as hand-poured candles from the Big Island, organic silk sleepwear, eye masks and pillowcases by Hiamoe, teas from Tea Chest Hawaii, and a range of skincare products.
