Tom Lewis, CEO of Ocean Club Resorts, two sister hotels located on Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos, has announced the appointment of Wilbert Mason as managing director for Ocean Club Management Ltd. and Ocean Club Resorts.
Having held a wide range of managerial and marketing positions in leading resorts throughout the Caribbean for the past 18 years, Mason will bring his expertise in guest relations and creative brand-awareness initiatives to the Ocean Club Resorts team.
“Wilbert has an exceptional level of understanding of the hospitality industry. We are certain he will be a superb asset to reaching beyond our guest booking and owner satisfaction goals throughout 2018 and in the years to come,” said Lewis in a written release.
Wilbert, a Certified Hospitality Administrator (CHA), holds a Masters Certificate in Food and Beverage Management and Revenue Management along with a certificate in Digital Marketing from Cornell University.
In his previous role as general manager at The Landings in St. Lucia, Mason played an integral role in the resort’s increased revenue stream as well as assisting the resort in being recognized with international awards.
Some of the additional resorts that were able to see spans of financial and brand development successes through Mason's management/marketing strategies include, Peter Island Resort, Regent Palms Sandy Lane, Spice Island Resort and Spa and Palm Island Resort.
