Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort has completed its $26 million property-wide renovation. Set along the South Carolina shoreline, the resort’s renovation began in August 2022 and encompasses a refreshed entrance, lobby, 323 upgraded guestrooms and refreshed balconies, and an expanded courtyard. The property’s transformation is its first since March 2015, when the new pool complex that includes two family pools, an adult pool and kids’ splash pad was refreshed.
Guests are now welcomed by a transformed front entrance with lush landscaping and subtle lighting. Inside, the refreshed, open-air lobby has oversized windows that showcase views of the tropical palm trees and the property. Heading to the updated guestrooms, travelers will find furnishings that draw inspiration from the Carolina coastline. Each room blends modern aesthetics and classic beach elements. In addition, the redeveloped suite balconies are outfitted with new sliding glass doors and railings.
Located at the heart of the resort, complete with palm trees, vibrant blooms and oak trees, the courtyard now has a Lowcountry charm reflected in furnishings, lighting and landscaping. Guests are encouraged to congregate and explore the meandering pathways, yard games such as chess, checkers, ping pong, cornhole, and more. Seating areas include rocking chairs around fire pits, a combination of lounge sofa groupings, oversized club and wingback chairs, and wicker rockers. The courtyard is also a wedding and event venue accommodating up to 150 guests.
Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort also offers three championship golf courses, eastern seaboard sun-facing pools and wellness amenities, and access to 11 lagoon trails.
