One year after its renovation and reopening as an adults-only, all-inclusive resort, Original Group’s Temptation Cancun Resort is making a few adjustments based on client feedback. Travel Agent spoke with Mario Cruz, concept manager for the Original Group, to learn more.
The most notable change is the separation of the resort’s Temptation Tower as its own upscale experience.
“It’s a little more VIP,” says Cruz of the tower, which is now listed as a separate property on sites like TripAdvisor. “We made a number of adjustments based on what clients are asking for.”
Guests of The Tower get exclusive access to the Sky Bar, a new rooftop bar and restaurant, as well as amenities like priority restaurant reservations and butler service. The new bar, which offers views of the Cancun skyline and Caribbean, serves up casual gastronomy and cocktails.
The Temptation Cancun Resort reopened in August 2017 following a year-long rebuild that repositioned it as an all-inclusive, adults-only resort. All of the resort’s 430 guestrooms and suites have a private terrace or balcony with views of the Caribbean or gardens, as well as free Wi-Fi and 24-hour room service.
Looking further ahead, the Original Group will be taking the Temptation brand to the sea with a Temptation Caribbean Cruise, setting sail February 13 – 18, 2020. The cruise will call at Grand Cayman and Cozumel and offer guests a number of adult-themed parties and experiences.
