As part of its “Best of Japan” series, Palace Hotel Tokyo has unveiled a new package. The “JAXURY at Palace Hotel Tokyo” package is designed to elevate travelers’ understanding of Japanese sensibilities.
Guests will have the opportunity to stay in the hotel’s JAXURY room. Products featured in-room include handcrafted lanterns and an objet d’art mirror by Time & Style; a glass speaker by Sony; an organic cotton eye mask, slippers and a throw blanket by Tenerita (available to take home); woodwork by Azmaya; and cushions wrapped in nishijin textiles by HOSOO.
At Wadakura, the kaiseki presentation is elevated with the incorporation of lacquerware by Nishimura Keikou Urushi, pottery by Asahiyaki, woodwork by Nakagawa Mokkougei and porcelainware by Kinzangama. As palate cleansers, products from Grace Wine in Yamanashi prefecture and Ippodo Tea will be served.
At the hotel’s Lounge Bar Privé, an original JAXURY cocktail inspired by one of Parfum Satori’s scents will be served alongside wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets) by Higashiya while at The Palace Lounge, a pairing of Suntory’s signature single-malt Yamazaki whiskey with artisanal chocolate by Maison Cacao comes with reserved seating piano-side for an evening of live jazz music.
A trio of optional off-site activities will complement the stay and dining experiences included in the package. The “JAXURY at Palace Hotel Tokyo” package is bookable for stays between May 12 and December 14, 2025, and includes:
- Two nights’ accommodation
- Daily in-room breakfast or at Grand Kitchen
- A JAXURY prix-fixe kaiseki dinner at Wadakura with wine pairings
- Lounge Bar Privé’s JAXURY cocktail paired with wagashi by Higashiya
- Suntory whiskey and chocolate by Maison Cacao at The Palace Lounge

Optional off-site activities, subject to additional charge, include the following:
- A guided 90-minute visit to the traditional Japanese glass-cutting studio of Tōru Horiguchi—a third generation master of his craft. Horiguchi embraces the art and spirit of Edo Kiriko and infuses his own style to create everything from glassware to timepieces, cuff links, light fixtures and wall installations. At the studio in Tokyo’s Edogawa ward, guests can create their own original glassware to take home or purchase original Horiguchi Kiriko pieces.
- A visit to Kyoto-based textile manufacturer HOSOO’s Tokyo boutique inside Yaesu Midtown, where guests can enjoy a private introduction to the brand’s history dating to 1688, as well as it textile art rooted in the traditional Japanese weaving technique known as nishijin-ori
- On a 60-minute visit to the atelier of Parfum Satori in Roppongi, guests can enjoy wagashi and Ippodo Tea matcha before discovering the atelier’s array of fragrances. A take-home gift of Parfum Satori’s “Chronicles of Scent” comes with a sample of five fragrances, one of which is the signature Satori scent featured at the International Perfume Museum in Grasse, France.
The JAXURY Consortium was founded in 2021 based on research undertaken by the Authentic Luxury Lab at Keio University’s Graduate School of System Design & Management. This marks the fifth consecutive year in which the JAXURY Consortium has recognized Palace Hotel Tokyo for its embodiment of “Japan’s Authentic Luxury.”
