Palace Resorts has announced that its newest property, Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos, will host its sixth annual Pro Awards. The event, which will take place September 12 – 15, is expected to draw 150 top Pro travel agents to the property, along with other industry partners and executives.
Frank Corzo, vice president of U.S. field sales for Palace Resorts, says that the move will allow the event to stay away from the more traditional, structured conference format and allow travel agents to discover the new property on their own. “We believe there is no better sales tool for an agent than to transmit to their clients their own vacation experience.”
The event will kick off with a welcome party serving cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, offering travel agents the opportunity to interact with the Palace Resorts sales teams and executives, as well as with resort staff. There will also be the chance to learn about the brand’s upcoming projects.
After that, agents will have two full days of leisure with a variety of activities and excursions from luxury golf, to sailing around the Sea of Cortez; alternatively, attendees can choose to relax at the resort. They will also have an exclusive opportunity to preview and experience the resort’s newest offering, the recently announced Royal Residence, a two-level residence with a private butler that can comfortably accommodate 12.
Attendees will also have the chance to take advantage of the resort’s spa, which has a hydrotherapy area, hot and cold plunge pools, sauna, herbal steam room, chromotherapy, ice room, relaxation lounge, and 25 treatment rooms. They will also be able to sample the resort’s dining options, which range from Lumiere, the a la carte restaurant, to Blanc Italia and Blanc Asia. For those looking for live entertainment, Le Blanc Spa Resort offers six different bars including Blanc Stage, Blanc Lobby, Blanc Sol, Blanc Eclipse and Blanc Fire, featuring live music.
The event will close with a black-tie gala, recognizing and honoring the highest producing Pro travel agents.
