The Palladium Hotel Group has announced its newly refurbished TRS Yucatan Hotel has reopened following extensive renovations. The resort is a part of Palladium’s re-branded adults-only offering, TRS Hotels, and is a conversion of the Royal Suites Yucatan and neighboring hotel Grand Palladium Riviera Resort & Spa.
The renovations include the creation of 454 suites, which include those from the former The Royal Suites Yucatan by Palladium and the integration of rooms from the Grand Palladium Riviera Resort & Spa. The suites come with private pools, terraces, and scenic views. Also included in the suites is a range of services like a pillow menu, flat screen TV, internet connection, a safe, 24-hour room service, and a full mini-bar that is refilled daily.
The suites are housed in 13 villas with special butler service that are ideal for both couples and groups. The new design incorporates both colonial and contemporary influences with a fusion of local architecture and modern materials.
TRS Yucatan Hotel’s new restaurants offer a variety of international cuisine – Italian dishes at Tentazione, French style at La Boheme, fine meat-cuts at El Gaucho, contemporary style at the Chic Cabaret & Restaurant, and gourmet cuisine at Capricho.
The upgrade also adds new beachfront innovations, including a signature beach club and live music. The a la carte restaurant, Helios, follows the trail of the famous beach clubs of Ibiza serving authentic Mediterranean cuisine, while the new Gaia, Aurum and Io bars located in the lobby, by the pool, and on the beach, will offer cocktails.
Entertainment options at the resort are accommodated by places to relax, like the multi-level Helios Infinity Pool, the Las Rocas salt-water pool, for the exclusive use of guests staying at the resort, with a large solarium with lounge chairs, sunbeds, and Balinese beds.
The pool and beach also offer activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and diving. The Zentropia Palladium Spa & Wellness center offers a selection of facials and massages, as well as whirlpool tubs, sauna, steam rooms and a gym.
