Palms Casino Resort will be making its grand (re)opening April 5 – 7. Following a $690 million renovation, which saw the resort add Kaos, a new day/nightclub venue (with headliners such as Alicia Keys, Cardi B, Travis Scott, Marshmello, G-Eazy, J Balvin, Skrillex and Zac Brown Band); Shark, a new restaurant by Bobby Flay; and Greene St. Kitchen, a design-driven dining destination that pays homage to New York City’s SoHo neighborhood, the resort is aiming to bring itself back to its former glory.
Art by Damien Hirst, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Takashi Murakami, KAWS and even Banksy (which will be located at Green St. Kitchen) will be featured throughout the property. In fact, there will be a mini art museum with pieces by Palms owners, Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta.
Redesigned rooms, suites, penthouses and the signature Sky Villas in the hotel's 342-room Fantasy Tower were all updates. The one- and two-story villas, which have infinity pools and range from $25,000 to $45,000 a night, come with a chauffeured ride to and from the airport, 24-hour butler service, a sauna, massage room and such amenities as Dyson hair dryers and a gym with Woodway Treadmills and Peloton bikes.
Several restaurants, including a new buffet, noodle house and Scotch 80 Prime, a steakhouse are other new additions.
The casino floor was updated, as well; the new standout feature is a shark tank art piece by Hirst. Forty new casino table games with phone-charging outlets were also added.
